Low Height Cylinders

Kashon Low-Height Hydraulic Cylinders are built for tight-clearance, high-tonnage lifting with an excellent power-to-height ratio. They fit under machinery bases, into gaps, and beneath beams for lifting and alignment; all models are single-acting, spring return, rated 700 bar for fast retraction and easy use in maintenance, installation, and emergency work.

Made from high-strength alloy steel with wear-resistant seals, they offer durable, reliable performance. Standard quick couplers connect to Kashon hand, air, and electric high-pressure pumps, and multiple capacities and strokes cover lifting, straightening, and support tasks—safe and efficient in confined spaces.

RSMB Series Ultra-thin Hydraulic Cylinder

The RSMB series Ultra-thin Hydraulic Cylinder are constructed in a compact low-profile or multi-stage telescoping form. Baked enamel surface for better corrosion resistance. Plunger wiper prevents contamination and helps extend cylinder life. This type of single-acting cylinder, spring or load retracting, gives considerable versatility and can be used with either hand or electric pumps.

  • Capacity: 555
  • Stroke: 25-64 mm
  • Pressure: 70Mpa
Why Choose This Series

CORE ADVANTAGES

Ultra‑Low Profile, High Force Density

Delivers high tonnage in places standard cylinders won’t fit—ideal under machine bases, beams, and structures when installation height is limited.

Faster Cycles with Spring Return

SM and RCS single‑acting, spring‑return models retract quickly to speed repetitive lifts and reduce downtime.

Secure, Extended Load Holding

LPL lock‑nut cylinders provide positive mechanical load holding for long‑duration jobs, adding safety and stability during staging and maintenance.

Built‑In Mounting and Stroke Protection

Pre‑engineered fixing points simplify fixturing; stroke‑limiting features help prevent over‑travel and component damage.

Corrosion‑Resistant, Jobsite Tough

Durable surface treatments (e.g., nitrocarburizing) defend against rust and wear for reliable outdoor performance.

Misalignment‑Friendly Contact

Tilt‑capable contact surfaces help distribute loads and compensate for minor misalignment, reducing side‑load risks.

RSM: Single-acting, spring return; fast retraction; mounting holes for easy fixing.
RCS: Single-acting, spring return; plunger with internal threads to mount a tilt saddle.
CULP: Single-acting, load return; ultra-flat; stop ring limits maximum stroke.
CUSP: Single-acting, load return; ultra-flat; tilting function helps distribute load.
LPL: Single-acting, load return; lock nut for mechanical load holding; longer stroke than CUSP/CULP; built-in tilt saddle.
RLT: Telescopic, low-height design; provides longer stroke in a compact format; mounting bolt holes for fixturing.

  • Very low overall height for working in tight spaces
  • High load capacity despite compact size
A practical complement to standard and =
  • high‑tonnage cylinders for staged lifting
  • Easy handling for service, installation, and field maintenance

Place the cylinder on a flat, stable, and sufficiently strong surface, keep the load centered to avoid side loading, and operate within rated capacity and stroke limits. When running multiple cylinders, use a uniform pressure supply and controlled, synchronized lifting to keep the structure level.

They’re designed for spaces with very limited headroom. Typical uses include lifting and lowering machines, structures, and steel components during installation or maintenance; straightening and alignment of frames, beams, and welded assemblies; bridge and structural jacking where only a small installation height is available; service and maintenance work in cramped areas; and mobile lifting or temporary support on construction sites and in plant engineering.
